Built for teams running 5–100 guards · Works on the phone in your pocket · Sample data included
Northgate Warehouse · Main gate
Night shift · 14 Oct · M. Lee → T. Alvarez
- Summary
- Quiet shift. Fence-line light out at the north corner — reported to facilities.
- Open concern
- Trailer seal on bay 4 was already broken on arrival. Photographed, no entry observed.
The handoff gap
- Shift updates live in a group text that scrolls away by morning.
- Paper logs stay at the desk, so the next guard never sees the whole picture.
- Nobody can prove a concern was actually handed over or acted on.
What ShiftLedger changes
- One ledger per site, written at the end of every shift.
- The incoming guard acknowledges receipt with a name and timestamp.
- Open concerns stay visible until someone resolves and closes them.
From end of shift to signed-off in three moves
No new process to invent. ShiftLedger mirrors the handoff your guards already do, and keeps a record of it.
- 01
Log the shift
The outgoing guard records the site, the summary, duties completed, open concerns and instructions for the next shift.
- 02
Acknowledge receipt
The incoming guard confirms they have read the handoff. The acknowledgment is stored with a name and timestamp.
- 03
Track until resolved
Anything unresolved becomes a tracked issue with an owner, a priority and a due date — or a structured incident report.
Everything a handoff needs. Nothing a guard has to learn.
Shift handoff ledger
Site, shift date, outgoing and incoming guard, summary, completed duties, open concerns and next-shift instructions.
Acknowledgment trail
The incoming guard signs off with a timestamp, so a manager can see exactly which handoffs were received.
Issue tracker with owners
Open, in progress or resolved — with priority, an owner and comments from the team.
Structured incident reports
Category, date and time, factual narrative and the actions taken. Drafts stay separate from submissions.
Supervisor view
Unacknowledged handoffs, overdue open issues and recent incidents across every site on one screen.
Search and filters
Filter handoffs, issues and incidents by site, status, priority and date — or search the text.

Straight answers
Is the demo using real customer data?+
No. The demo workspace is seeded with clearly labeled fictional records for a warehouse gate, an office building and a distribution center. No real company, customer or site information is included.
How do guards use it on shift?+
Most handoffs are written at the end of a shift on a phone. The forms are single-column, the site is pre-filled, and the incoming guard acknowledges in one tap.
Can guards see other sites?+
No. A guard only sees the sites they are assigned to. Supervisors and organization admins see everything within their own organization — and never another organization's records.
How does billing work today?+
Plans are live in Stripe test mode: choosing one inside the workspace opens Stripe Checkout, and no real payment is taken. Card details are entered on Stripe's own page, never on the marketing pages.
Do you hold security certifications?+
We do not claim any certifications. ShiftLedger is an early product in active validation, and we will not advertise compliance we have not earned.
What happens to my data if I stop using it?+
Organization admins can clear the sample records at any time from Settings. See the privacy policy for the full placeholder terms.
